tnt products reflect my lifelong passion for skin care and are created with the most advanced and effective ingredients, allowing my clients to achieve their highest potential in skin care.
With the abundance of skin care choices on the market, it is my job to demystify the secrets to achieving healthy, radiant skin. Educating my clients about age management methods and acne treatments saves them time and money. My formula is simple: combine equal parts of research and science, apply the truth liberally, achieve outstanding results. Repeat when necessary.
Anyone can use tnt; male, female, young, and not so young. We have clients from 11-87 years young.
That depends on what you are trying to achieve. You will feel a difference almost immediately. You will see a change in the texture of your skin within 7-10 days. For acne sufferers who are committed to the routine, you should be clear within a 3-4 month period. For age management and pigmentation concerns, it depends on the severity of your situation but usually 2-8 months.
As a clinical aesthetician I focus on correction, prevention and treatment of your skin concerns. Clinical aestheticians are usually in a medical setting and have a variety of peels and equipment at their fingertips. A clinical aesthetician will usually specialize in a couple of areas delivering the most advanced care and products. In my practice I am constantly educating my patients about their skin, products, ingredients, and procedures. You can’t get these benefits from a spa facial.
Pure and simple, acne is a disease. Through some genetic mishap, there is a defect in the structure and working of the skin. The pores in an acneic skin behave differently than the pores of a non-acneic skin. Newly formed cells accumulate in the pore along with old cells which have not exfoliated causing a “traffic jam’ in the pore. This process is called retention hyperkeratosis, a term coined by the late dermatologist, Dr. Albert Kligman. There is no cure, although there is control. tnt has several products to help you kick your acne to the curb. Education and the right products will get your skin clear. I strongly believe in educating my clients about the acne process and how it pertains to their skin. Nobody leaves my office confused and uninformed. Knowledge IS power.
Because I said so! Soap is too drying, too harsh and leaves a residue on the skin. Soap can also strip the natural lubricating oils of your skin leaving it dry and dull-looking.
Yes!!! Sleeping with makeup such as foundation and primers significantly clog pores and suffocate the skin. Clogged pores appear larger and can lead to breakouts. Sleeping with your makeup also interferes with the skin’s ability to naturally rejuvenate itself leading to a lackluster appearance. Be sure to remove all of your makeup – including mascara. Sleeping with mascara damages the lashes, leaving them brittle and prone to breaking.
Not if you’re into wrinkles, dark spots and skin cancer. Come on people, how much research do you need? And yes, you will still get your Vitamin D. Ten minutes of unprotected sun a few times a week will give you plenty of Vitamin D and very little sun damage. Do it before 10am or after 4pm. In my opinion, SPF 30 is the new 15. SPF 70? 100? Not necessary. If you’re on the beach or outside for an extended period of time go with what I call the dynamic duo, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. What is key is finding a sunscreen with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. The most important element of the equation is REAPPLICATION of your sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors.
